DOG VACCINATION SCHEDULE
Puppies, adults, and senior dogs have differing schedules for legally required vaccinations. Without these, your pet has little opportunity to live a long healthy life. Some diseases, such as rabies, are fatal without remedy.
The following vaccination schedule is only a general outline of needed vaccinations. Ask your veterinarian which inoculations/medicines and when they need to be given to comply with your local laws.
Puppies
Distemper
Adenovirus
Parainfluenza
Parvovirus
Rabies
Veterinarian's Recommendation
Bordatella bronchiseptica
Coronavirus
Leptospirosis
Frequency
Minimum of 6 weeks & older 3 doses (every 3 weeks) Yearly or according to veterinarian's direction.
Adults
Distemper
Adenovirus-2
Parainfluenza
Parvovirus
Rabies
Frequency
One-year or three-year vaccination dependent upon veterinarian's recommendation.
Seniors
Follow local laws
Frequency
Different schedules for senior dogs may apply. Some vets recommend only a three-year vaccination for dogs over seven and more years depending on health and breed of dog. Discuss the three-year vaccination option with your vet.
